Esports Betting at Liverpool888: MLBB, Dota 2 & Valorant Odds

Liverpool888's Esports Sportsbook

Liverpool888 delivers esports betting through two established providers: SBOBet and CMD368. Both platforms are widely used across Southeast Asia and carry deep event coverage for tier-1 and tier-2 esports tournaments. Malaysian players access the sportsbook through Liverpool888's main site or Android app — no separate registration is needed once the Liverpool888 account is funded.

SBOBet carries the broadest esports market selection, covering MLBB, Dota 2, Valorant, CS2, League of Legends, and King of Glory with both pre-match and in-play (live) betting. CMD368 complements this with competitive handicap and over/under lines across the same titles. Having two providers means odds comparison is built into the platform — a meaningful edge for value hunters.

Liverpool888 supports MYR as its sole operating currency. All sportsbook deposits and withdrawals process in ringgit, removing currency-conversion friction for Malaysian bettors. Deposits are instant via Touch n Go eWallet, Boost, FPX Online Banking, and Bank Transfer.

MLBB Betting Malaysia

Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) is the most heavily traded esports title on Malaysian sportsbooks, and Liverpool888's providers reflect that demand. SBOBet lists MLBB markets for the MPL Malaysia league, MPL Indonesia, MSC, and the M-Series World Championships, giving Malaysian bettors access to both domestic and international competition year-round.

Key MLBB Betting Markets

• Match Winner (Moneyline): Bet on which team wins the series — most common entry point.
• Map Handicap: One team receives a virtual map head-start (e.g., −1.5 maps). Useful when the moneyline is heavily skewed.
• Total Maps Over/Under: Bet on whether the series runs to 3 maps or ends in 2. Popular in best-of-3 MPL matches.
• First Blood: Which team draws first blood in a specific map. High-variance, high-odds market.
• Tournament Outright: Season-long bets on MPL Malaysia or World Championship winners.

From my experience testing the SBOBet esports board during MPL Malaysia Season 13, live odds on MLBB matches update within seconds of in-game events — kill leads, Turtle kills, and Lord attempts all visibly shift the moneyline. The live market is where informed esports bettors find their edge.

MLBB Betting Tips for Malaysian Players

MPL Malaysia franchises such as ECHO, RRQ, and Blacklist International have stable rosters across seasons, making head-to-head form data reliable. Track individual hero-pool depth and jungle meta shifts, as patch changes affect win rates significantly at the professional level. Avoid betting on preliminary rounds where stand-in players may substitute without public announcement.

Dota 2 Betting Odds

Dota 2 attracts the widest odds range of any esports title on Liverpool888's sportsbook, driven by The International's large prize pools and Valve's Dota Pro Circuit (DPC) regional leagues. SBOBet and CMD368 both list Dota 2 pre-match and live markets for DPC Southeast Asia, ESL events, and The International main event.

DPC SEA Regional League features Malaysian organisations, meaning local fan knowledge translates directly to betting value. Teams like Fnatic and Bleed Esports have competed at international Dota 2 events with results that diverged significantly from pre-match odds — identifying these situations is where handicap lines become important.

Liverpool888's live betting interface via SBOBet is particularly well-suited to Dota 2, where a single Roshan kill or Barracks trade can shift a 40-minute game's outcome rapidly. For more on live betting mechanics, see the live betting guide.

Valorant Esports Betting

Valorant betting at Liverpool888 covers the VCT (VALORANT Champions Tour) ecosystem, including VCT Pacific — the regional league that includes Southeast Asian teams — and the annual VALORANT Champions world final. SBOBet lists Valorant match-winner and map markets for tier-1 events; CMD368 focuses on series-level handicap lines.

Valorant Markets Available

• Match Winner: Full series result across best-of-3 or best-of-5 formats.
• Map Winner: Individual map betting within a series.
• Map Handicap: Round-level handicap (e.g., −4.5 rounds) for tightly contested maps.
• Pistol Round Winner: A niche market with boosted odds on each half's pistol round.
• Tournament Winner: Outright VCT Pacific or VALORANT Champions winner.

VCT Pacific features teams such as Paper Rex (Singapore/SEA), Team Secret, and Global Esports. These organisations have public roster histories, agent-pool statistics from vlr.gg, and map-win-rate data that informed bettors leverage for handicap lines. Map picks and bans are publicly disclosed before the series — factor these into map-level bets.

Valorant's round-based structure means in-play odds shift more granularly than Dota 2, with significant odds movements after economic resets (eco rounds, force-buys). Live betting on Valorant rewards bettors who understand economy management. Pair this guide with the sports betting guide for a broader handicap framework.

Esports Markets Explained

Liverpool888's esports sportsbook uses decimal odds format by default — the same format applied across SBOBet's full sports menu. A decimal odd of 2.10 means a RM 100 bet returns RM 210 (RM 110 profit). Handicap markets in esports use Asian Handicap lines, identical in mechanics to football handicap betting. For a full breakdown of how Asian Handicap works, see the sports betting guide.

Live (in-play) betting is available on MLBB and Dota 2 through SBOBet. Odds update continuously and markets may be temporarily suspended during critical in-game moments. Having the match stream open alongside the betting interface is standard practice for live esports bettors. Liverpool888's Android app and mobile web support simultaneous stream viewing without significant performance degradation on standard 4G connections.

Bonus Offers for Esports Bettors

Liverpool888 offers a 70% welcome bonus on first deposits, applicable across its sportsbook products. New players receive a 70% match on their initial deposit — the maximum cap and wagering requirement are not published in the brand's current data, so check the welcome bonus page for current terms before claiming, including any esports-specific wagering restrictions.

Returning bettors have access to two standing promotions:

• 20% Daily Bonus: A daily reload match of 20% on top-up deposits. Useful for high-frequency esports bettors who fund frequently around tournament schedules.
• 5% Weekly Rebate: A weekly cashback of 5% on net losses. Esports bettors running downswings during a tournament week recover a portion of losses automatically.

Liverpool888 also offers a RM 10 free credit via the BolaKing network — a no-deposit option for first-time users to sample the esports sportsbook without committing funds.

As with all bonuses in Malaysian online sportsbooks: wagering requirements apply. Always read the full terms on the promotions page before placing bonus-funded bets. Responsible gambling reminder — bonuses increase volume of play; only bet amounts you can afford to lose. If betting starts to feel compulsive, visit Liverpool888's responsible gambling page.
